Do you want to help College Avenue, the Collegian, CTV and KCSU become the media of the future? Do you like to spend copious amounts of time on the Internet? Do you want to make RMSMC’s web presence the best in the country?

Most importantly: do you want to be on a staff that has all its meetings in the Skeller? (just kidding. But seriously…)

If you said yes to any of these questions, then you should come work for the Digital Media Department!

Positions available:

Online Content Supervisor: Charged with overseeing the online content for all of student media, organizing online-only projects and thinking about social media strategies. 

Web Content Designer: In addition to being a member of our web design team, the web content designer would also be charged with designing infographics and other interactive content. Some knowledge of HTML and web design is preferred. 

Blogs Editor: Oversees the blogs across all four mediums and is tasked with recruiting a diverse group of bloggers from the campus community.

Each position will require 10-15 hours of work a week, as well as attending biweekly staff meetings. Hours are flexible based on class schedule, and you’re more than welcome to “double-dip” in other the media, as well as find off-campus internships.

All of these positions are slated to be funded through work study or stipend.  If you’re interested, please fill out the application below.
